Restoration Project Rembrandt (Harmenszoon van Rijn), together with Rubens, is the most renowned 17th‐ century Flemish painter. “The Night Watch” at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is the largest and most famous of his paintings. The Medici family were great lovers of Flemish art and they built a collection which is only second to that in Amsterdam. The Uffizi owns two portraits by this great master.
